"Ocean Star" - Liverpool / Birkenhead
The "Ocean Star" is a Lochin 33 Workboat, powered by a new Cummins Marine QSC engine giving 500 horsepower. This provides a fast cruising speed of 17 - 18kts (top speed 27.8kts) and will reach the fishing grounds in approximately 1.5 hours. She is fitted with Furuno and Lowrance navigational equipment has a Code of Practice for 10 Anglers and Crew, up to 60 miles offshore. For wrecking trips we recommend a maximum of 8 anglers. She is also permitted to carry 750KG of cargo

"Osprey" - Rhyl / Birkenhead
The "Osprey" is a Mitchell 31 Sea Angler powered by a 130HP Ford Marine Engine. An average cruising speed of 8kts is plenty to reach the marks within easy reach of Rhyl Harbour. Again, fitted with Furuno Navigational equipment. "Osprey" is licensed to carry 10 Anglers and 2 Crew up to 20 miles from any save haven, but we recommend 8 anglers for your added comfort.
